June 14th, 2003 at 8:20 amWell, it’s not as if I do so every day. Just a every other day.
June 14th, 2003 at 11:34 amI’m going to rant for a second —- I spent the first 23 years of my life in New York State and whenever I meet anyone from NYC and ask ‘where you from?’ they say “the city” — as if New York city is the only city in the State!! Now I come to IL and its the same thing — meet someone the other day from Chicago — where you from I say — ‘the city’ —- I thought are you kidding me?!
Just giving you a hard time D!
June 14th, 2003 at 8:31 pmWait…there are cities in Illinois outside Chicago?! *grin*
June 15th, 2003 at 8:03 pmYA, Like Cleveland
June 15th, 2003 at 11:37 pmI live in O’fallon IL — wonder what kind of wierd looks I’d get if I start telling people I live in ‘the city’?! Though with my proxmity to St Louis, they’d probably assume that is where I live. It’s geographical discrimination!
