I was reading Eric S. Raymond’s How To Become A Hacker tonight and this zen poem caught my eye:

To follow the path:
look to the master,
follow the master,
walk with the master,
see through the master,
become the master.

I would encourage anybody who associates the word ‘hacker’ with a negative connotation to read this document.
