Where I first learned how to send fake mail

I was going through all my stuff in preparation for my move tonight, when I came across an old newsgroup posting I had printed out back in ‘97 - How to send fake mail. This was where I first learned how to connect to an email server and send email using SMTP commands.

I used to fake emails from the president and send them to the guys that worked for me…was totally wicked.

Sending fake emails was one of the first “hacking” things i learned on computers back in ‘94. Wrote a program on a VAX VMS system that spoofed emails-
From: God@Heaven.com
Subject: I’m watching you!
Body: You’ve been bad!
