I have an RCA universal remote and am trying to use it with a 19MF338B/27 Magnavox 19 inch TV that has already been programed to an antenna. I am wanting to connect it to uverse (att) but can not get the preprogramed TV to un program. Suggestions

I have an extra motorola dvr box that comcast left here accidentally. I was able to get every channel and record shows – I basically has worked perfectly for many months. Last night it stopped working.The cable went out for a few minutes on all of my tvs and it never came back on for this one. I can’t even access the shows that are recorded on the dvr.
Does anyone know how I can reactivate it?

I did the cold initialize 3 2 8 to reset the motorola DCT700 then I lost everything? No pix at all the remote can only turn the box on and off, and volume up and down on the tv that it. Can some one help me how to restore or do anything to make it work with existing signal? Thanks a lot.

There is a built in 5 minute Skip ahead or skip back built into the 6412. While in playback mode “Page Up” will advance program 5 minutes and “Page Down” will rewind 5 minutes. If it is built in then it may be a feature activated when I put in the code for the “30 second” advance feature, because it works on both remotes that I activated the 30 advance feature on.

Thanks! This worked even with the PACE TDC577X DVR we just got installed. Funny how they all want to leave this feature off the remotes even when it is available in the hardware/software. Love the internets for help with this little subversion!

Awesome! It totally worked. 30-second skip is great for watching baseball, where it’s about 30 secs between pitches.

Hi,

I am having a terrible time getting my tv and box to turn on simultaneously and for the volume to work. If the former doesn’t happen (tv and box on at same time) then the volume doesn’t work. Can anyone tell me how to reset this thing so it works correctly? My daughter turned the TV off on its own and nothing is working right since.
