We did feel like we had the perfect Seattle experience with lunch overlooking the water. Alas, we didn't get to see the Freemont troll, but I think we saw one of the city views you were suggesting? We made our way to Volunteer park and saw some very pretty sights... within a few days we'll post about our seattle trip on our blog: cormiers.blogspot.com.
