Rothenburg is by far the most fabulous place on Earth to be during the Holiday season. Christmas time really makes me miss Germany as a whole but Rothenburg has that charming "Christmas all year" charm to it and during the Holiday season it's just that much more amazing. It seems so picturesque (O Tannenbaum, and all). And I would simply die to be in a Germany bakery having a slice of authentic German Stollen. I hope you had a chance to do that. Have a safe trip home, enjoy your family - hope to talk or see you before too much longer. I don't know if you recall, but when I found out you were going to Germany (it was at a party, I believe) I told you about how much I enjoyed visiting this town. Did you know the torture museum was opened by an American ex-pat from Wisconsin? Also, did you get a chance to stop by that pub they have, which has been open (if I recall right) for about 700 years?
